Full steam ahead on getting some Christmas presents completed.
I painted these last night. They are painted on small wooden plaques and remind me of postcards. I painted directly on the wood and I'm not sure that was the best idea-so next time I think I will try some gesso first and then do the painting.

Very sweet! I love your kitty paintings.
Great artwork Leslie. The Snowmen remind me of those lovely Christmas cards my Grandmother used to send me every year. Gosh and I'm sitting here roasting at the moment. Maybe we could do with a little snow here for a day or two.
Take care love your blog

Lovely Christmas images on the wood. I've been doing an online class with Suziblu and she uses birchwood ply (which she swears by). I havent been able to get any in Australia as yet, but I am going to give it a try when I do.
Thanks for visiting my blog and in answer to your question re: watercolour crayons, you can purchase them online from Dickblick. The ones I like the best are the caran d'ache neocolour II - gorgeous, creamy crayons that work super.
These are really cute, Great idea:)

Lovely paintings. You do kitties well. They have such character!
I love them both, but the snowman is my favourite.
Whoever gets these sweet postcards will treasure them! And the extra sparkle makes them shine just so.
Beautiful work.
